KC Speaks. The Blockchain Listens.
Treasure KC turns Kansas City's community voice into an immutable, verifiable record. Every survey response is timestamped, GPS-verified at the neighborhood level, and anchored on the XRP Ledger — permanently, publicly, and independently verifiable by anyone. For the first time, a city's voice cannot be dismissed, altered, or suppressed.
- Timestamped: every response recorded the moment it's submitted — UTC, down to the millisecond.
- GPS-Verified: location anchored at neighborhood / ZIP-code level — never a street address.
- Ledger-Anchored: anonymized proof written to the XRP Ledger, verifiable by anyone, forever.
- Privacy-preserving: k-anonymity enforced — individual responses can never be isolated.
- Zero PII on-chain: name, email, address, and response content never touch the ledger.
- Banks can't say KC doesn't want something. City planners can't guess. Developers can't assume. The blockchain shows what residents actually said.
The Problem It Solves
Community surveys have always been easy to dismiss. A developer says 'nobody wants that.' A bank says 'the neighborhood doesn't have the demand.' A city planner says 'we consulted the community' — and nobody can prove they didn't lie. Treasure KC writes every response to a public blockchain at the moment of submission. You can't alter it. You can't suppress it.
What Goes On-Chain
- UTC timestamp of response submission.
- GPS neighborhood hash (ZIP-code level, not street address).
- Anonymized member ID (cryptographic hash — not your name).
- Response hash (proof the content was submitted, not the content itself).
What Never Goes On-Chain
- Your name, email address, or phone number.
- Your street address or precise location.
- Account numbers or financial details.
- The actual content of your survey response.
- Any personally identifiable information of any kind.
Privacy Architecture
- k-Anonymity: insights only reported when a minimum group size is met — individual responses can never be isolated.
- Neighborhood-level only: location anchored at ZIP-code level, never street address.
- Cryptographic separation: identity replaced with a hash before touching the ledger.
- Data stays in KC: survey insights inform local funding, coverage, and resource allocation — never sold.
- Opt-out, zero penalty: members can opt out of data sharing anytime with no effect on TKC earnings.
